Created in 1997 by Chalene Johnson, Turbo Kick™ is featured in over 20,000 different health clubs and fitness chains in the US and countries across the globe. Further, this addictive workout combines shadow boxing, kickboxing, sports drills, dancing, yoga, and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere. Turbo Kick™ is an interval based class that allows participants of any fitness level to participate and custom tailor their workouts.
Turbo Kick™ has many faces. No program could be as successful or as diverse as Turbo Kick™ without the cumulative efforts of many talented and devoted individuals. It combines the best of two worlds: Group Exercise and Martial Arts. No equipment needed! Heavy bags, kick shields and other equipment are costly and inherently more dangerous. The format includes the ultimate cardiovascular challenge complete with a sport specific warm-up, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a Tai-Chi, or PiYo™ style cool down.

Hi! I'm Kristy. I can help you make the right diet, exercise, and healthy lifestyle choices, and motivate you to stay on track to reach any goal. Joining the Team Beachbody community was absolutely the right choice for me. It is such a powerful combination of products and tools, not to mention a great group of people who all share the same goals and make up the best support system ever. Those of you who know me well are familiar with my lifelong battle with weight. I’m pretty sure I was born thinking I was fat. My earliest memory of worrying about my weight is around 8 years old. Because of this, I have always been mindful of health and fitness, but I could never quite get it right and until now I had struggled with yo-yo dieting for over 20 years.
Thankfully I have a wonderful family who keeps me grounded. My husband, Kris, has more integrity and love to give than anyone I know. Add our children, Kelly (3) and Cade (1), to the mix and I have the family I always dreamed of.
And now I have shed my baby weight and am at the lowest weight I have been in over 15 years. I feel great, and have the opportunity through Beachbody to help those I love and care about get fit and improve their overall health. Pretty great!
The best part is that I think I am finally in control…not my weight, not food, not the boring treadmill. I'm not saying that I have THE secret to losing weight. What I can say is that I feel happy, healthy, strong, and fit. I have found exercises that I truly enjoy (um...actually I'm 100% addicted to Turbo Jam), I am balanced in my eating - meaning I have learned how to balance "fun" eating and drinking with healthy food choices, exercise, and the right supplements – and I make health and happiness a top priority in my life.
And, guess what...it REALLY isn't that hard to do! I'm hoping you'll give me the chance to help you make positive, healthy changes in your own life by letting me show you how I did it.
